How We Work

Every engagement at MYK Group Ltd follows the same four-step process. It keeps our advice practical, our timelines honest and our fees predictable — whether you are an individual planning your next career move or a business owner planning your next stage of growth.

Step 1 — Free Discovery Call (15 minutes)

We start with a free, no-obligation phone or video call. You describe your situation and goals; we listen, ask questions and give an honest view of whether and how we can help. If we are not the right fit, we say so and point you elsewhere.

Step 2 — Structured Assessment (1–2 weeks)

Before recommending anything, we assess. For careers: a structured review of your CV, experience, strengths, motivations and target market. For businesses: a review of your numbers, operations, market position and capacity. You receive a written summary of findings — not a sales pitch.

Step 3 — Written Action Plan (within 1 week of assessment)

You receive a clear, dated action plan: what to do, in what order, with what expected result and cost. Career plans cover roles, applications, skills and milestones. Business plans cover priorities, process changes, customer growth actions and a realistic timeline.

Step 4 — Review and Follow-up (ongoing)

Plans only work if they are followed. We schedule review checkpoints, adjust the plan where reality differs, and stay available between sessions by email. Longer advisory relationships run on a monthly retainer with a fixed number of working sessions and unrestricted email support.

What you can expect throughout

Fixed fees agreed in writing before work begins. Sessions online by video call across the UK and Europe, or in person at our Halifax office. Replies within one working day. And honest advice — if a service will not help you, we will tell you rather than sell it.
